1. Data controller

The controller responsible for your personal data is Pactmint, located in Mexico City, Mexico. For any matter relating to your personal data, contact us at privacidad@pactmint.com.

2. Personal data we collect

To provide the service we may collect the following categories of personal data:

• Identification and contact data: name, email, and profile details where applicable.
• Account data: access credentials and configuration preferences.
• Data contained in the documents you create, import, or sign on the platform, which may include third-party data (your contract counterparties).
• Payment data, processed directly by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage and technical data: IP address, device type, browser, and platform interaction events.

3. Sensitive personal data

We do not request sensitive personal data to operate the platform. If you choose to include such information in the documents you generate, you do so under your own responsibility and consent.

4. Purposes of processing

We process your data for the following purposes:

• Primary (necessary for the service): create and manage your account; generate, edit, store, export, and send your documents for signature; process payments and subscriptions; provide support; and comply with legal obligations.
• Secondary (optional): send you communications about new features, content, and promotions, and run analytics to improve the product. You may opt out of these at any time by writing to privacidad@pactmint.com, without affecting the service.

5. Transfers and processors

To operate the service we share data with providers acting as processors on our behalf — including cloud infrastructure, payment processing (Stripe), and email delivery — only as needed to provide the service. We do not sell your personal data. We do not carry out transfers that require your consent under Article 37 of the LFPDPPP, except those required by a competent authority.

6. ARCO rights

You have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel, or Object to the processing of your data (ARCO rights), and to withdraw your consent. To exercise them, send your request to privacidad@pactmint.com stating your name, the right you wish to exercise, and information that lets us locate your data. We will respond within the time frames set by the LFPDPPP.

7. Withdrawal of consent

You may withdraw the consent you granted us at any time. Some withdrawals may mean we can no longer provide the service. Direct your request to privacidad@pactmint.com.

8. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your session active, remember your preferences, and — subject to your consent — measure platform usage for analytics. You can manage cookies from your browser settings; disabling some may affect how the service works. Additionally, as a normal part of operating the service, we collect product-usage metrics server-side (for example, contracts created or exported) without placing cookies on your device, to improve Pactmint.

9. Retention and security

We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described and applicable legal obligations. We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data against damage, loss, alteration, or unauthorized access.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice. The current version will be published at pactmint.com/legal/privacidad with its last-updated date. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
