Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of Pactmint, a platform operated by Pactmint ("Pactmint", "we"), available at pactmint.com and app.pactmint.com. By creating an account or using the platform you accept these Terms.
1. Acceptance of the Terms
By registering or using Pactmint you represent that you have the legal capacity to contract and that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Description of the service
Pactmint is a tool that lets you create, edit, import, store, export, and send documents for signature using templates and AI assistance. You decide the final content of your documents and are responsible for their use.
3. Pactmint is not legal advice
Pactmint is a self-service document tool; it is not a law firm and does not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice. Using the platform does not create an attorney-client relationship. Templates and suggestions are provided for informational and productivity purposes only and do not replace advice from a licensed professional. For matters requiring legal judgment, consult a lawyer or accountant. You are solely responsible for verifying that your documents are appropriate, valid, and sufficient for your specific situation.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
5. Plans, payments, and cancellation
We offer a free plan with usage limits and paid plans with additional features. Payments are processed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each period until you cancel; you may cancel at any time from your account and keep access until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with reasonable prior notice.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Pactmint for unlawful or fraudulent purposes or to infringe third-party rights; not to compromise the platform's security; and not to upload content you have no right to use. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of the documents and data you upload or generate ("your content"). You grant us a limited license to host and process your content solely to provide the service. You are responsible for the legality of your content and for obtaining counterparties' consent when you include their data.
8. Intellectual property
The platform, its software, brand, and design are owned by Pactmint or its licensors and protected by applicable law. These Terms do not transfer to you any rights in the platform beyond authorized use.
9. Limitation of liability
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pactmint is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, nor for the suitability or legal validity of the documents you generate. Nothing in these Terms limits liabilities that cannot be excluded under the law.
10. Termination
You may stop using Pactmint and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law, giving you notice where reasonable.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of Mexico City, Mexico, waiving any other jurisdiction that might apply.
