Export and share
PDF, DOCX, public link, and e-signature.
The editor's topbar Share button exposes several outputs.
Immediate download — best for email or evidence attachments. Keeps the editor's typography and applies the Pactmint seal in the footer.
Useful when the contract must keep being edited outside Pactmint (e.g. client-side internal review). Filled placeholders become plain text.
Pactmint generates a read-only public URL. The link auto-expires and you can revoke it any time from Share → Revoke link.
Kicks off the e-signature flow: capture signer data, send the email, and track status from the signatures panel. Each signature is sealed with a verifiable timestamp. See Signatures and parties to manage who signs and the collection paths.
The signature block
Both PDF and DOCX build the closing signature block from the contract's parties — never from prose, so it always matches the editor exactly. The exported block shows:
- One signature line per party, with the principals first and a separate Witnesses heading and group below them.
- Each party's captured identification details (name, ID, address) printed under its line, when you filled them in.
- A "Optional signature" marker on any party you flagged as optional — those don't block the contract from being fully executed.
If a party has already signed, its captured signature image and the signer's name and date appear in place of the blank line.
